I don’t want to finish my paper due in 36 hours because it means I’ll be done with school.
Dear New York,
Don’t hold me to this, but for now you are my favorite and I want never to leave you.

One of the best musicians you’re probably still not listening to - Frank Ocean, GQ’s Rookie of the Year. Disclaimer: he doesn’t say anything very interesting (the questions asked are incredibly boring) but how great is the suit?
And when you’re done with that, watch Justin Timberlake & Jimmy Fallon’s video. Characteristically inappropriate but so cute.

seated at the table
Tonight I had dinner with my parents at a restaurant I don’t remember the name of or maybe never knew and can’t find online (it’s right above the A/C/E Canal stop). Toward the end of our meal what I assume was the restaurant manager came around to each table to ask how the meal was and if we enjoyed ourselves. I thought it was a rare, nice, and classy touch, and for that brief...

Sharing the screen on national TV with Anderson Cooper & Daniel Radcliffe at 0:32 (spoiler alert it’s really awkward)! Thanks Jenn & Ravana for pointing this out & Leesh for the tickets!
I went back to work yesterday.
The pseudo-relationships that form from taking the same paths daily are strange. There’s a guy who has the exact same & fairly uncommon commute as me: 8:30 or 8:40 AM N from Union Square to the Brooklyn Army Terminal building at the 59th Street stop; 5:40 or 5:50 PM N reverse in the early evening (don’t stalk me; I’ll cut you). I know what...

– The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Milan Kundera. With a daily two-hour round trip commute I plan to fly through my to-read list. Kundera’s classic ranks a 4.5 on a scale of 1-10 though.
